Hello Doc.
I guess I find a software to BURN your DVD??s with your CD-R and save a lot of money, check this page and find out, I??m thinking in buy this software what do you think?.

''COPY ANY DVD MOVIE TO A CD !''
They say very explicitly that what the software can do is to encode a DVD in such a way that it can be burnt onto CD's with a normal CD burner . Meaning it either makes mpeg1, mpeg2 or avi files, which can be burnt as a VCD, SVCD or DivX file .
There are many (MANY!) freeware programs out there to do just that .
